On Earth Day, our young eco-warriors from Classes 3 to 5 turned creativity into a promise to protect our planet. Children crafted beautiful bookmarks that carried a strong message of love for nature.

With splashes of green and blue, tiny fingers shaped Mother Earth, smiling faces, trees, and the word “SAVE” on popsicle sticks.

Each bookmark was more than art β€” it was a reminder. As they painted, students discussed why Earth needs our care: to save trees, keep water clean, and make every day Earth Day. The rough cloth and newspaper kept our spaces clean, because caring for Earth starts with small habits.

The activity ended with proud smiles as children held up bookmarks of Mother Earth, smiley faces, trees, and the Earth with hands around it. These bookmarks will now travel with them in their books, spreading the message wherever they read.

Through this simple craft, Classes 3 to 5 learnt that big changes begin with small actions β€” even a bookmark can remind us to love, respect, and protect our only home.

Happy Earth Day! Let’s nurture nature for a better future.
