Yogasana Champions Bring Glory to Our School

Sunrise Academy proudly participated in the Inter School Yogasana Tournament held on 26th April 2026, where many schools from Uttarakhand participated with great enthusiasm. Their our students delivered an outstanding performance that reflected dedication, discipline, and the true spirit of yoga.

In the Individual Event, Nishika Bagri (Class VII) won Gold with her graceful and confident poses, while Garima Bisht (Class VII) secured Silver with her strength and poise. In the Doubles/Pair Event, Garima Bisht & Nishika Bagri (Class VII) clinched Gold through perfect coordination and trust. Anshika Juyal & Avni Sharma (Class VII) earned Silver with their balanced and elegant routine.

With 2 Gold and 2 Silver medals overall, our students have once again shown that consistent practice and focus lead to success. This achievement was made possible under the expert guidance and mentorship of our Yogasana Instructor, Mr. Himanshu Sharma, whose commitment and encouragement have been instrumental in shaping our students’ skills and confidence on the mat.
