STEM Laboratory (Jigyasa Kaksh) Inauguration Programme
Sunrise Academy proudly participated in the STEM Laboratory (Jigyasa Kaksh) Inauguration Programme held on 25th April 2026 at Lekhak Gaon, organized with the support of the Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology.
A state-of-the-art STEM laboratory was successfully inaugurated, marking a significant step toward enhancing scientific learning and innovation among students. This initiative aims to foster curiosity, creativity, and a scientific temperament by encouraging students to explore concepts beyond textbooks through hands-on experiments and practical learning experiences.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of the Government of Uttarakhand, Shri Pradeep Batra ji as the Chief Guest, Shri Durgesh Pant ji as the Distinguished Guest, and Lekhak Gaon’s Chief Patron, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ ji. Mrs. Vidushi Nishank, Director of Lekhak Gaon, was also present on the occasion.
Sunrise Academy was recognized for its valuable contribution to promoting Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. The institution actively participated in the establishment of the STEM Laboratory – Jigyasa Kaksh, which will provide students with opportunities to engage in robotics, artificial intelligence, and experiential learning.
Students from Sunrise Academy have also enthusiastically enrolled in Robotics Classes under this initiative. The registered students are: Shresth Kohli, Ankur Kukreti, Riddhi Rawat, Anushka Bisht, Anushka Thakur, Aditi Prakash, Prakriti Chaudhary, Shivendra Naithani, Nawakshi Alhedia, Jasleen Kaur, Mihit Rawat, Arav Thakur, and Agrima Prakash.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Teacher Incharge Ms. Chhaya Kataria.
This initiative reflects the continued commitment of Lekhak Gaon and Sunrise Academy towards nurturing innovation, creativity, and future-ready skills among students, preparing them to excel in the ever-evolving world of science and technology.
