An Educational Trip to Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology
Students of Classes VI and VII of Sunrise Academy participated in an educational trip to Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology on 21st May 2026. The visit proved to be a wonderful learning experience as students explored the fascinating world of science, technology, space, and biodiversity through interactive activities and live demonstrations.
During the visit, students explored the Fun Science Gallery and Himalayan Gallery, where they learned about local geography, scientific principles, and physics through hands-on models and engaging exhibits. The Frontiers of Technology Gallery attracted great enthusiasm among students as it introduced them to advanced concepts such as robotics, artificial intelligence, space technology, and augmented reality.
One of the most exciting experiences of the trip was the Taramandal (Portable Planetarium), where students enjoyed an immersive journey through the night sky, planets, and the solar system. The 3D Theater further enhanced their learning by screening informative and entertaining science-themed 3D movies.
Students also visited the Innovation Hub, a creative learning space equipped with scientific instruments and modern tools that encouraged young minds to explore coding, robotics, and innovative project-making.
The educational trip was highly informative, interactive, and enjoyable. It not only enhanced the scientific knowledge of the students but also inspired curiosity, creativity, and a deeper interest in technology and nature. The students returned with wonderful memories and valuable learning experiences.
