An online Inter-House English Debate Competition
On the occasion of the 28th Foundation Day, Sunrise Academy organized an online Inter-House English Debate Competition on 20th July 2026. The competition was conducted in two categories: Classes VI–VIII and Classes IX–XII, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their public speaking, critical thinking, and argumentative skills.
The event was graced by Management Members, esteemed judges, Dr. Yogita Rana, Assistant Professor, and Prof. Mamta Sharma, whose valuable insights and fair judgment encouraged the participants to present their views confidently and effectively.
The debate topics were thought-provoking and relevant to contemporary issues:
*Classes VI–VIII: “Reality Shows Have a Negative Impact on Youth.”*
*Classes IX–XII: “Had We Used AI Before, the Middle East Conflict Would Have Been Solved Long Ago.”*
Participants from all four houses—Pratap House, Shivaji House, Vikramaditya House, and Ashoka House—presented well-researched arguments both for and against the motions. The students impressed the audience and judges with their confidence, eloquence, and logical reasoning.

The competition concluded with words of appreciation from the judges, who commended the participants for their confidence, preparation, and ability to express diverse perspectives on complex issues. The event was a great success and added to the spirit of learning and celebration during the school’s 28th Foundation Day festivities.
