“Chintan Pravah” Inter-School Debate Competition at Shigally Hill International Academy
Sunrise Academy proudly participated in the “Chintan Pravah” Inter-School Debate Competition 2026–27, hosted by Shigally Hill International Academy, on 25th July 2026. The event brought together talented debaters from various schools, providing a platform to showcase their critical thinking, analytical skills, and public speaking abilities.
The debate competition featured three thought-provoking topics, and each participating school had to select one topic for the debate:
*1- The Good Old Days Were Never Really Good.*
*2- Space Exploration Is a Waste of Time.*
*3- Had We Taken Help from AI, the Middle East Conflict Would Have Been Solved Long Ago.*
Sunrise Academy chose the third topic, “Had We Taken Help from AI, the Middle East Conflict Would Have Been Solved Long Ago”.
Representing the school were Nawakshi Alhedia (Class XI), who spoke for the motion, Shivendra Prakash Naithani (Class XI), who spoke against the motion, and Sameepta Yadav (Class XII), who delivered the rebuttal. The team impressed the judges with their confidence, clarity of thought, and eloquent presentation.
Their outstanding performance earned Sunrise Academy the Third Position in the competition.
