Teachers’ Day
Sunrise Academy celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and gratitude on 5th September 2026 to honour the dedication and invaluable contribution of teachers.
The celebration began with a special morning assembly, where students paid tribute to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by showering flowers on his photograph then the Class XII students presented a meaningful skit titled “A Teacher Is a Blessing from God,” highlighting the significant role teachers play in shaping the lives of their students. This was followed by a graceful dance performance and an inspiring speech by a student expressing heartfelt gratitude towards the teachers. Adding a personal touch to the celebration, the students presented beautiful cards and gifts to all the teachers as a token of their love, respect, and gratitude.
The first part of the celebration was conducted with the students of Class XII, after which the programme continued in the presence of the Management Dignitaries and teachers. A teacher shared insightful thoughts about the life and contributions of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, reminding everyone of the true significance of Teachers’ Day.
A student then presented a beautiful poem dedicated to teachers, followed by two thought-provoking documentaries.
The occasion also included a felicitation ceremony, during which the 100 percent board result teachers were honoured by the Management Members for their sincere efforts and commitment. Principal Ma’am, Nitu Tomar, Administrative Officer Ma’am Monika Sharma and Ma’am Kamla Bisht were also acknowledged for their valuable contribution to the school community.
The celebration concluded on a warm and appreciative note as the management members presented gifts to every teacher as a token of love and gratitude.
The entire programme was a heartfelt tribute to the educators who continuously inspire, guide, and empower students to become better individuals.
