Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and excitement at Sunrise Academy on 18th October 2025. The entire campus was beautifully decorated, creating a festive atmosphere that truly captured the spirit of the occasion.
The students of Classes 1 to 5 performed a special assembly. The anchors for the event were Nitya Dubey and Vaishnavi Bhandari of Class 5. Abhilash Baluni of Class 4 spoke about the significance of Diwali – the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. This was followed by melodious songs sung by the students of Classes 1 and 2.
To encourage creativity and hands-on learning, beautiful and innovative art and craft activities were held. An exciting Diwali Quiz was conducted to engage the students in learning about the rich cultural and historical heritage of Diwali. The Diwali Quiz not only lit up the minds of the students but also added a spark of curiosity and joy to the overall celebration.
