Sunrise Academy celebrated 73rd Independence Day with renewed vigour and patriotic fervour. The school paid homage to the national leaders and freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives to gain independence for the country. the chief guest of the day was Mrs. Vidya Sriniwasan, co-ordinator of SPIC MACAY, the soceity for the promotion of Indian classical music and culture amongst youth. guest of honour was Mrs. Rekha Hatwal , an educationist and also a preceptor in Heartfulness program.The event began with the lamp lightening followed by foot-tapping patriotic song and mesmerizing traditional dance performances and yoga prepared by the students. The speech of head boy Mohd. Shad Fardeen and head girl Tejasee Singh created an atmosphere laced with patriotic undertones.
