Sunrise Academy celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 15th August 2025. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Distinguished Literary Figure and Linguistic Dr. Jayanti Prasad Nautiyal, who graced the event with his inspiring presence. The programme was held in the presence of the esteemed Management Members.
The programme commenced with the Flag Hoisting ceremony, followed by the soulful rendition of the national anthem by the school choir. The celebration continued with a vibrant Junior School Dance performance, showcasing the young students’ energy and enthusiasm.
A motivational speech by the School Captain highlighted the significance of the day and the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters. The Senior School Dance then brought cultural richness to the stage, followed by an engaging performance by the D. Pharma students.
Adding to the festive spirit, a special Janmashtami-themed performance captivated the audience. The Chief Guest then addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to uphold the values of freedom and responsibility.
The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, teachers and students for making the event memorable. The day was a perfect blend of patriotism, culture, and unity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.
