On 16th February 2026, the students of Sunrise Academy participated in an exciting and educational Bird Watching Activity. Our respected ma’am Principal Mrs. Nitu Tomar and teachers, Mrs. Kusum Negi and Mrs. Anita Gaur were present . The Earthian Group teachers, Ms. Soumya Prasad and Ms. Apoorva Negi, also guided and supported the students throughout the activity.

The students visited the School Campus and Kali Temple, Raipur Road, to observe different species of birds in their natural surroundings. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature.

During the activity, students observed various beautiful birds such as the Indian Grey Hornbill, Red-Vented Bulbul, Grey Wagtail, Red-Wattled Lapwing, Lineated Barbet, Grey Bushchat, Brown-Headed Barbet, and Himalayan Bulbul. The teachers explained the special features, food habits, and habitats of these birds, which made the learning experience more interesting and informative.

The activity helped students develop observation skills and patience. Everyone enjoyed listening to the chirping sounds and watching the birds closely through binoculars. It was a memorable and enriching experience for all the students.
