Career Counselling Session at Sunrise Academy
Sunrise Academy, organized a comprehensive Career Counselling Session for the students of Classes VIII to XII on 23rd August 2025. The program aimed at guiding students towards choosing the right career path and motivating them to set clear goals for their future.
For the students of Class VIII, the session focused on understanding the importance of aims, goals, and self-discipline. They were encouraged to think about their dreams and develop clarity regarding what they aspire to become in life. The resource person also highlighted the need for focus, hard work, and consistency right from the school years.
The Science stream students of Classes XI and XII attended a detailed session on career opportunities in Defence, Medical, and Engineering. They were given information about various entrance examinations such as NDA, NEET, and JEE, along with preparation strategies and eligibility criteria. The speaker inspired them to remain determined and work with dedication to succeed in these highly competitive fields.
For the Commerce stream students of Classes XI and XII, the discussion revolved around diverse career options after Commerce. Professional courses like CA, CS, and CMA were explained in detail. Students were also informed about degree programs such as B.Com, BBA, and Economics, which form a foundation for higher studies and government jobs. Careers in Banking & Finance, Management & Business, Government Services, and emerging modern fields like Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, and E-commerce were also introduced, broadening their perspective on opportunities available after school.
The interactive sessions across all classes proved to be extremely informative and inspiring. Overall, the Career Counselling Session was a highly enriching experience for students, giving them confidence, clarity, and motivation to work towards their aspirations.
