Chess Tournament
Sunrise Academy successfully organized the Chess Tournament 13th July 2026, providing students with an excellent platform to demonstrate their strategic thinking and concentration. The Tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from students in the Under-14 and Under-19 categories.
The event witnessed intense competition and excellent sportsmanship from all participants.
Under-14 Boys Category
The boys’ final round was played between Anmol Singh (Class VI) and Saksham Verma (Class VII). After a challenging game, Saksham Verma emerged victorious with a score of 1–0, securing the championship title in the Under-14 Boys’ category.
Under- 14 Girls Category
The girls’ final round was contested between Vaishnavi Rawat (Class VIII) and Purvi (Class VIII). Demonstrating remarkable concentration and skill, Purvi won the match.
Under-19 Boys Category
The boys’ final featured Shresth Kohli ( Class IX Sci). and Aarush Kumar (Class X Comm). Aarush displayed excellent strategic gameplay and won the match.
Under-19 Girls Category
The girls’ final was played between Hanshika Chauhan(Class XI) and Suhani Pal ( Class XI) Hanshika Chauhan performed exceptionally well and secured a 1–0 victory.
The competition provided students with an excellent platform to showcase their analytical skills, patience, and decision-making abilities. The winners and participants were applauded for their dedication, enthusiasm, and sporting spirit throughout the tournament.
