On the occasion of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Jayanti, celebrated on 14th April 2026, Sunrise Academy organised an Essay Writing Competition for students of Classes VI to XII. The topic for the competition was “The Life and Legacy of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar.”
The competition aimed to encourage students to learn about the inspiring life, struggles, achievements, and invaluable contributions of Dr. Ambedkar. Students participated with great enthusiasm and expressed their thoughts creatively through well-written essays reflecting knowledge, awareness, and respect for the Father of the Indian Constitution.
The competition was conducted in two categories:
Category I: Classes VI to VIII
Category II: Classes IX to XII
The results of the competition were declared on 15th May 2026. The winners were appreciated for their creativity, presentation skills, and deep understanding of the topic.

Second Position: B. Tejashree – Class VIII
Third Position: Sonal Kumari – Class VI
Winners – Category II (Classes IX to XII)
First Position: Sameepta Yadav – Class XII Science
Second Position: Shivendra Prakash Naithani – Class XI Science
Third Position: Nawakshi Alhedia – Class XI Science
The competition proved to be an enriching learning experience for the students.
