Sunrise Academy celebrated the vibrant festival of Harela on 15th July 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was organized to raise awareness about environmental conservation and to celebrate the rich cultural traditions of Uttarakhand. Students from Classes IX to XII actively participated in the celebration through a variety of performances.
The program began with a meaningful skit performed by the students of Classes IX and XI. Their act beautifully conveyed the message of protecting the environment, planting more trees, and living in harmony with nature.
Following this, students of Class IX presented a colorful and energetic folk dance, showcasing the essence of Harela through traditional moves and costumes.
A touching poem was recited by Arav Thakur of Class X, who expressed the importance of trees and greenery through powerful verses dedicated to Mother Nature.
