Health and Hygiene Awareness Session for the boys
Sunrise Academy organized an informative Health and Hygiene Awareness Session for the boys of Classes VI to XII on 25th July 2026. The session was conducted by Dr. Mahendra Dandge (Pediatric Surgeon) and Dr. Piyush Chaudhary (Pediatrician and Neonatologist) along with their medical team.
The resource persons sensitized students about the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene and adopting healthy habits during adolescence. They explained the various physical and emotional changes that occur during this stage of life, including the appearance of pimples, growth of a moustache and beard, and other natural body changes. The doctors emphasized that these changes are completely normal and should be accepted with confidence.
They also encouraged students not to feel shy or embarrassed about any health-related concerns. Instead, they advised them to communicate openly with their parents, teachers, or doctors whenever they face any problem. The session highlighted the importance of self-confidence, proper hygiene, and seeking timely guidance rather than hiding concerns due to fear or hesitation.
The interactive session helped students clear their doubts and inspired them to develop a positive attitude towards their physical and emotional well- being.
