Himalaya Diwas
Sunrise Academy celebrated Himalaya Diwas on 9th September 2026 with a special assembly conducted by the students of Classes IX and XI. The assembly aimed to spread awareness about the importance of the Himalayas and the need to protect this precious natural heritage.
The programme featured a meaningful act and beautiful poetry presentations by the students, highlighting the beauty, significance, and ecological importance of the Himalayan region.
On the occasion, the Principal Ma’am led all the students in taking an oath to protect and preserve the Himalayas and contribute towards keeping the environment clean and sustainable.
The assembly concluded with an informative address by a teacher, who highlighted the importance of the Himalayas as a source of water, biodiversity, and environmental balance.
The programme inspired students to understand their responsibility towards conserving the Himalayan ecosystem and its natural beauty.
