Celebrating Poetic Pioneers at Shigally Hill International Academy: Inter-School Competition
Poetry is the language of the soul, and its recitation is an art form that brings words to life. The Inter-School Poetry Recitation Competition, held at Shigally Hill International Academy on August 2, 2025, was a magnificent showcase of this very art. The event was a testament to the power of verse and the talent of young minds, bringing together students from various schools to share their passion for poetry.
A panel of esteemed educators, comprising Mrs. Rachna Malhotra, Mrs. Sonia Singh, and Mrs. Anjali Gurung, judged the competition. They faced a difficult task in selecting the winners from a pool of exceptional talent. The competition was evaluated based on parameters such as voice modulation, expression, pronunciation, and overall stage presence.
In Category 1 (Solo), Nitya Dubey from Class 5 secured a notable third position. In Category 2 (Group), the participants from Classes 7-8, namely Samridhi Bhardwaj, Vanshika Negi, Prachi Gupta, Ansh Bhatt, Subuhi Bisht, and Ojas Bisht, secured the third position.
It was a proud moment for Sunrise Academy, as this event brought reasons to celebrate for the Sunrisers in the field of literature.
