Yet another epoch-making event was observed in Sunrise Academy. As the school marked its Investiture’s Ceremony with the esteemed presence of honourable guests IAS Shri Sachin Kurve Ji and the Guest of Honour Shri Anoop Bisht, Deputy Sports Dehradun, Chief Coach for Junior Uttarakhand Athletics Association and Dev Bhoomi Dronacharya Awardee. To express gratitude towards the benign guests, the girls of junior and middle section performed Ganesh Vandana dance to seek the blessings of God.All the distinguished members boosted the morale of the new student council as they donned the mantle of leadership. The batches and sash were bestowed to the School Captains, Sports Captains and the House Prefects by our Guest of Honour Shri Anoop Bisht, our MD Ma’am, Principal Ma’am and other distinguished members. This proud moment was witnessed by the parents of the student council. Who expressed their happiness with a loud uproar of claps. The student council pledged to carry on the duties entrusted to them with uprightness and integrity.The junior, middle and senior wing celebrated this historic moment with cheerful folk dance performances.The eyes of the council members swelled with tears of joy as they expressed their happiness through their speech. Senior and Junior School Captains addressed the audience and assured their subordinates to carry on the duties with utmost sincerity and pride. Our Principal Ma’am and MD Ma’am also expressed their joy with us and invigorated in them the spirit of workmanship. The programme concluded with the inspiring words of our Guest of Honour and our Chief Guest, who feliciated the new student council by motivating them to reach for the zenith and make the emblem of their school soar high with their service.
