Investiture Ceremony
Sunrise Academy proudly conducted its Investiture Ceremony on 2nd May 2026 with great dignity and enthusiasm. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Ms. Sumali Devgan, Principal of Doon Girls’ School, along with all the dignitaries, dedicated teachers, and proud parents.
The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the beginning of a new journey of leadership. This was followed by a graceful prayer dance that set a serene and positive tone for the event. The school choir then mesmerized the audience with their soulful performance, filling the atmosphere with harmony and inspiration. A meaningful skit highlighting the qualities of a true leader further added depth to the programme.
The most significant moment of the ceremony was the pinning of badges, where the newly elected student council members were formally entrusted with their responsibilities. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony, where the young leaders pledged to uphold the values and ethos of the school with sincerity, dedication, and integrity. The Senior and Junior School Captains delivered inspiring speeches, expressing their gratitude and commitment towards their roles.
The distinguished dignitaries addressed the gathering with their motivating words. The Chief Guest emphasized the importance of leadership, discipline, and responsibility, while the Managing Director and Principal encouraged students to lead with confidence and set exemplary standards.
