Labour’s Day
Sunrise Academy celebrated Labour’s Day with great enthusiasm and respect through a special assembly conducted by the students of Classes IX to XII.
The programme was dedicated to acknowledging and appreciating the invaluable contribution of the ancillary staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes.
The assembly began with a warm welcome, followed by a thoughtful introduction highlighting the significance of Labour’s Day. Students presented beautifully handcrafted cards as tokens of gratitude for the support staff. A meaningful skit was performed, portraying the dignity of labour and reminding everyone of the importance of every worker in society.
The celebration also included lively dance performances and fun games organized especially for the ancillary staff. Gifts were presented as a gesture of appreciation and respect for their hard work and dedication.
The Principal addressed the gathering expressing heartfelt gratitude towards the staff and encouraging students to always respect and value every individual’s contribution. Adding a special touch to the programme, members of the ancillary staff also came forward to share their feelings, making the event even more memorable.
The assembly concluded on a note of gratitude and respect, leaving everyone with a deeper understanding of the importance of dignity of labour and the need to appreciate those who support us every day.
