On 21st September 2025, the students of Sunrise Academy actively participated in the “Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat – Youth Summit”, organized by the Heartfulness Institute in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India and MY Bharat. The event was conducted virtually.
The summit aimed at spreading awareness on substance abuse prevention and empowering the youth to live a purposeful, addiction-free life. The program included guided meditation sessions, panel discussions, creative youth activities, and interactive Q&A rounds. Students were encouraged to build resilience, inner strength, and adopt tools for mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
The distinguished speakers of the day were, Dr. Alok Tandon, Dr. Renu Tandon, Sarasvati Kulkarni, Anagha Bhardwaj, Jatin, and Kyati Verma, who enlightened the participants with their valuable thoughts and experiences.
During the program, students also took the “Nasha Mukt Pledge” and the “Swadeshi Bharat Pledge”, reaffirming their commitment towards a drug-free, self-reliant, and progressive India. A session of meditation was also conducted, helping students experience inner peace and clarity.
The event served as an enriching and inspiring experience, motivating our students to take a pledge towards health, discipline, and responsible citizenship.
