Sunrise Academy organized a highly enriching workshop on 1st April 2026 to mark the completion of five years of implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The session began with a dedicated workshop for teachers, aimed at enhancing their understanding and effective implementation of NEP guidelines in the classroom.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome to the esteemed resource person, Ma’am Kusum Dandona, along with Management Members and all faculty members. The presence of Mr. Jagjeet Dandona, who coaches IAS aspirants, further added value and inspiration to the occasion.
The theme of the workshop, “Navigating NEP 2020: Strategies for Effective Implementation in Schools,” focused on equipping educators with innovative teaching methodologies aligned with modern educational reforms.
A key highlight of the workshop was the activity-based session designed around the NEP 2020 structure of 5+3+3+4 stages. Teachers were divided into teams of five members, encouraging teamwork, discussion, and exchange of ideas. Each group worked on activities given to them for making the session highly interactive and meaningful.
Ma’am Kusum Dandona, shared her vast experience and valuable insights on NEP 2020 and fostering teamwork among educators. Her session was informative, engaging, and inspiring for all participants.
As a token of gratitude, the respected MD Ma’am presented a planter to the honourable guests. The respected Principal Ma’am also addressed the gathering and shared her perspective on the importance of such workshops in strengthening teaching practices.
The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the resource person, school management, and all teachers for making the workshop a grand success.
