Today, on his 139th Birth Anniversary, we bow to the son of our Devbhoomi, Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant Ji (10 September 1887 – 7 March 1961).
From the hills of Almora to the heart of the nation, his journey is the story of India itself.
A towering freedom fighter, the first Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, the architect of modern Uttarakhand, and the Home Minister who gave India Hindi as its Official Language and reorganized our states – Pandit Ji was not just a leader, he was an institution.
He taught us that true leadership lies in simplicity, courage and selfless service to the nation.
On this day, Sunrise Academy pays heartfelt tribute to this great son of Bharat. Let us inspire our students to follow his ideals of honesty, hard work and love for the motherland.
